  Film analysis Homework Due in on Friday 16th October 2020 Analyse the choice of shot type, angle, movement and composition. Screen shot at least 5 different scenes and explain the choices made and their effects. Many range from pans from the pov of the main character, Beatrice (who later changes her name to Tris), or just a pan of something that is generally quite important for the specific scene.  Friday 9th October 2020 Lights, Camera, Action L/O: to understand and practice using the principles of film making. Shot type: Establising shot: sets the scene and location. Master shot: comes typically after the establishing shot and films the whole scene and cuts in between the all the other shots that are filmed at different angles and in different shot types. Shots are chosen for meaning and links to narrative. Long shot: doesn't have to centre the character. Medium Long shot: To show confidence of the character. Medium Close Up: capture reactions and straight to the point. Close up:Eye level, characters feeling and for empathy. Extreme Close up: isolates a certain feature, tools for emphasis. Friday 2nd October 2020 Skills Task Evaluation L/O: to reflect and evaluate skills development. Introduction: For my album I chose to link 3 different music genres together. The 3 genres I chose were Pop rock, Alternative rock and electropop. I chose to aim my album at people my age, 16, as its the type of music that I like and the type of album cover would interest me.  Question 1: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?: I researched many different covers of the genres and the ones I found that I like the most were the ones that I had provided on my blog page. I feel like it doesn't match to many of the conventions of the genres that I chose and I feel I had let my imaginations go off on one and forgot to match all of the texts together.
